Gazipur:A fire that erupted at a scrap warehouse in the Konabari area of Gazipur city on Monday evening was brought under control after an hour and a half of firefighting efforts.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the blaze began at Babul Haji's warehouse in Deuliabari at approximately 600 pm and rapidly spread throughout the premises.
Upon receiving information about the fire, two units from the Konabari Modern Fire Station were dispatched to the scene to combat the flames. As the situation escalated, an additional two units from the Sarabo Modern Fire Station joined the operation to help extinguish the fire.
Fire Service Warehouse Inspector Moinul Islam reported that the fire was successfully contained around 730 pm through the concerted efforts of the four units involved.
The cause of the fire and the full extent of the damage remain undetermined, though fortunately, no casualties have been reported.
