Dhaka:A delegation from Jamalpur Science and Technology University (JSTU) met with President and Chancellor of the university Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at Bangabhaban this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the delegation was led by JSTU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md Amir Hossain. During the meeting, Professor Hossain provided the President with updates on the university's academic and research activities, administrative progress, infrastructural development, and future plans.
The President encouraged the delegation to enhance the quality of education and research at the university, aiming to meet international standards. He also offered his support in overcoming the university's current limitations and challenges, as requested by the delegation.
The delegation included University's Treasurer Professor Dr. Mohammad Ali Hossain and Registrar Md Sarwar Jahan. Officials from Bangabhaban were also present during the meeting.
