Bandarban:Chittagong The government has announced integrated initiatives aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by families affected by recent floods in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT). Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Minister Sa Ching Prue emphasized the commitment of both the government and administration to support the residents of the hill districts during natural disasters.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Minister Sa Ching Prue made these remarks while attending a program at the Bandarban Sadar Upazila Parishad auditorium. The event, organized by World Vision Bangladesh, involved the distribution of health protection materials and emergency food assistance to families impacted by the floods.
During the event, Minister Prue personally handed over relief materials to the affected families. He commended the humanitarian efforts of development partners like World Vision Bangladesh, acknowledging their significant role in aiding communities affected by disasters. The minister assured that the assistance would persist until the situation was fully resolved and all affected families were rehabilitated.
