Dhaka:Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad, Bir Bikrom, highlighted the similarities between Bangladesh and Sweden in parliamentary democracy, expressing optimism about the formation of a parliamentary friendship group to enhance democratic practices.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during a meeting with Swedish Ambassador to Bangladesh Nicolas Weeks at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, the Speaker noted Sweden's long-standing role as a development partner of Bangladesh.
