Dhaka:Former minister and Awami League Joint General Secretary Dr. Dipu Moni underwent a medical checkup at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Friday after being brought there from jail.
According to United News of Bangladesh, Dr. Dipu Moni was transferred to DMCH from the prison in the morning. After spending one and a half hours undergoing necessary medical examinations and an initial health check, she was returned to jail.
A team from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) brought her to the hospital at around 1145 am. The Detective Branch (DB) Inspector Nasir Uddin Sarker stated that she was escorted back to the jail by police at approximately 1215 pm.
