Dhaka:President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir paid a visit to the ailing Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives Minister Dr. Abdul Moyeen Khan at Evercare Hospital in the capital on Friday morning.
According to United News of Bangladesh, during the visit, the President enquired about the minister's health and treatment and wished him a speedy recovery, as reported by Bangabhaban.
Hospital physicians, including cardiologist Prof. Dr. Shahabuddin Talukder, provided the President with a briefing on Dr. Moyeen Khan's current medical condition. The minister's wife, Advocate Roksana Khandaker, was also present during the visit.
Dr. Moyeen Khan was admitted to Evercare Hospital on Wednesday night due to respiratory distress and heart-related complications. He is currently under close medical observation.
