Dhaka:Seven more individuals have succumbed to dengue, with 1,373 new patients hospitalized across the country in the 24 hours leading up to 800 am on Wednesday.
According to United News of Bangladesh, these additional fatalities have increased the total number of dengue-related deaths to 364 this year, as reported by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). All the recent deaths occurred within the Dhaka South City Corporation.
Since the beginning of the year on January 1, hospitals nationwide have admitted 116,990 dengue patients. Out of these, 110,656 patients have successfully recovered.
