Manikganj:Prizes were distributed among the winners of the Nazrul Cultural Competition at the District Shilpakala Academy on Saturday evening, celebrating Nazrul Year.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Food Minister Afroza Khanam Rita attended as the chief guest and distributed the prizes at the event organized by the Manikganj District Administration.
The programme was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Nazmun Ara Sultana and attended by several notable figures, including Superintendent of Police Mohammad Sarwar Alam, Principal of Manikganj Government Debendra College Dr. Mohammad Mahfil Khan, and various other local officials and community leaders.
The cultural competitions began on August 31 at the Manikganj District Shilpakala Academy as part of a nationwide initiative marking Nazrul Year. Moshiur Rahman, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, inaugurated the event.
