Chattogram:Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is scheduled to arrive in Chattogram on Tuesday to participate in the Sharadiya Durga Puja celebrations and greet members of the Hindu community.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, following the puja visit, the Prime Minister will engage in an organizational meeting with local BNP leaders. The meeting is expected to address various party matters and will take place at the Radisson Blu hotel, involving BNP leaders from Chattogram's metropolitan, north, and south district units.
Mahbubur Rahman Shamim, the BNP central organizing secretary and administrator of the Chattogram Zila Parishad, informed journalists that the Prime Minister will travel to Chattogram by air. Upon arrival at Shah Amanat International Airport, he is scheduled to proceed directly to the Puja mandap at J. M. Sen Hall in Rahmatganj at 600 PM. There, he will exchange greetings with the Hindu community and distribute financial assistance.
