Natore:Jatiya Sangsad Whip and Natore-2 lawmaker Advocate Ruhul Quddus Talukdar Dulu has instructed relevant authorities to enhance the quality of healthcare services at Natore General Hospital.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the directives were issued during Dulu's inspection of the hospital, where he emphasized the importance of punctuality among doctors, nurses, and staff, warning of consequences for non-compliance.
Dulu highlighted the necessity for maintaining cleanliness throughout the hospital, including its toilets. He noted that the 250-bed facility is operating with resources intended for only 100 beds, including manpower, medicine, and food supplies.
Efforts will be made to address these issues and improve service quality at the hospital, he stated. The inspection was attended by Civil Surgeon and Hospital Superintendent Dr. Muhammad Mashiur Rahman and Resident Medical Officer Dr. Mahbubur Rahman, among others.
