Accra:The Election Commission has announced that voters have until October 31 to apply for changes to their voting area due to a change of residence in preparation for the local government elections.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, this information was revealed in a letter signed by Md Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, Senior Assistant Secretary of the EC Secretariat. The letter detailed the deadlines related to voter transfer applications October 31 for submissions, November 3 for issuing applications, and November 5 for the final disposal of these applications.
The Election Commission has outlined a comprehensive schedule to manage the submission, issuance, and disposal of voter transfer applications. Upazila or thana election officers have been instructed to ensure that these applications are processed within the specified timeframe.
