Khulna:A total of 20 undergraduate and master's students from the Social Science School at Khulna University (KU) have been recognized with the Dean's Award for their academic excellence.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the students were chosen based on their academic results for the years 2024 and 2025. In 2024, 12 students received the awards, comprising four undergraduates and eight master's students. For 2025, eight students were honored, with an equal split between undergraduate and master's programs.
The awards were presented during a ceremony at the university's Journalist Liaquat Ali Auditorium, where recipients were given crests and certificates. The event featured KU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md Rezaul Karim as the chief guest, with Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md Harunur Rashid Khan, Treasurer Professor Dr. Md Nurunnabi, and Acting Dean of the School of Education Professor Dr. Md Imdadul Haque speaking as special guests. The ceremony was chaired by Professor Sheikh Sharafat Hossain, dean of the Social Science School.
