Baku:Bangladesh staged a walkout during the Israeli president's address at the seventh summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in Baku, Azerbaijan.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Bangladesh delegation, led by State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir, exited the conference hall as the Israeli president began delivering his speech. The move was part of a protest, and representatives from several other countries also participated in the walkout, boycotting the address.
The seventh CICA summit in the Azerbaijani capital has gathered leaders and senior representatives from participating countries to discuss regional cooperation, security, and confidence-building measures across Asia.
