Mymensingh:Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat has urged the installation of CCTV cameras at every Puja mandap and the deployment of adequate security personnel to ensure peaceful celebrations of the upcoming Durga Puja.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Minister Millat emphasized the need for advance precautionary measures to prevent any untoward incidents during the religious festival. He made these remarks at the monthly meeting of the District Law and Order Committee, held at the Mymensingh Deputy Commissioner's conference room where he served as the chief guest.

The minister noted that necessary security arrangements, including CCTV installations, had already commenced.
