Perth:A Bangladeshi student studying at Edith Cowan University (ECU) in Perth, Australia, was killed in a road accident.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the student, Tasnim Oishi, died in the Indian Ocean Drive area of Perth around 745 am local time on Thursday. The Bangladesh High Commission in Canberra issued a statement expressing deep sorrow over her untimely death and extended heartfelt condolences to her grieving family.
The Bangladeshi International Students Association Perth (BISAP) also conveyed profound grief over Oishi's passing, noting that the tragedy has deeply affected the Bangladeshi student community. BISAP extended condolences to her family, friends, classmates, and loved ones, praying for the eternal peace of her soul. The association also prayed for Almighty Allah to grant her Jannatul Firdaus and provide her family with the strength to endure the loss.
