Natore:National Parliament Whip and Natore-2 lawmaker Advocate M Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu criticized the Awami League government, accusing it of intentionally weakening the country's education system. He claimed that their actions have pushed the nation backward.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dulu made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a reception ceremony at Jhautala Mariam School in Patuapara. He asserted that under the Awami League's tenure, the quality of education became a subject of mockery.

He mentioned that the BNP government is focusing on educational development, allocating the highest amount of funds to the sector in the current fiscal year.

He also urged vigilance against attempts by certain groups to destabilize Bangladesh from a neighboring country. Dulu called for efforts to maintain peace, coexistence, and religious harmony among different faiths, including Hindus, Muslims, Christians, and Buddhists.

The event was presided over by the head teacher of Mariam School, Sister Shilpi Perera. Other speakers included BNP Lawmaker Anna Minj, Father Dino Giacominnelli, district BNP Joint Conveners Mostafizur Rahman Shaheen and Saiful Islam Aftab, former municipal mayor Kazi Shah Alam, and Emdadul Haque Al Mamun.
