Jakarta:Prime Minister's Adviser on Public Administration, Md Ismail Zabihullah, emphasized that the recent visit of the Prime Minister's Office delegation to China is expected to bolster the bilateral relationship between the two nations.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Zabihullah made these remarks during a pre-departure reception for the delegation, organized by the Chinese Embassy. He highlighted the importance of enhancing mutual communication, trust, and cooperation to deepen the existing friendly and strategic relations between Bangladesh and China.

Zabihullah urged the delegation to go beyond formal meetings, encouraging them to engage with Chinese government officials, entrepreneurs, academics, and citizens to understand China's development experience. He stressed the importance of becoming familiar with Chinese culture, institutions, and the reasons behind the nation's significant economic and social transformation.

He pointed out that Bangladesh can learn from China's long-term planning, infrastructure development, industrialization, and technological innovation. China's approach to diversifying its economy and increasing productivity could provide valuable insights for Bangladesh as it undergoes economic and administrative transformation.

Zabihullah also reflected on the longstanding relationship between Bangladesh and China, which began during the tenure of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman. He noted that the relationship has since evolved into a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership. He emphasized the potential benefits of introducing an e-visa system for Bangladeshi citizens traveling to China and called for increased cooperation in trade, investment, technology, and human resource development.

He expressed optimism that the strengthened cooperation would result in greater benefits for the people of both countries in the future.
