Keraniganj:Dhaka BNP leaders and activists will assist the local administration in ensuring the peaceful celebration of Durga Puja across Keraniganj, as stated by BNP standing committee member and lawmaker Aman Ullah Aman.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Aman Ullah Aman emphasized that acting on instructions from BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman, party leaders and activists in Keraniganj are prepared to maintain vigilance for a smooth Durga Puja celebration for the Hindu community.
Aman mentioned that BNP activists would coordinate with the local administration to guard puja mandaps in three shifts, encouraging the Hindu community to enjoy the festival without fear.
He made these remarks during the inauguration of the Kholamora Chhoyalbari Idol Immersion Ghat in Dhaka-2, where he was the chief guest. During the event, clothes were distributed, and financial assistance was given to 87 temples across Keraniganj Upazila.
