Chattogram:Two garment workers lost their lives when a pickup van collided with their motorbike in the EPZ area of Chattogram city on Thursday morning.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the victims were Tamanna, 23, originally from Morelganj of Bagerhat, and Md Khalil, 38, a resident of the Free Port New Mooring area under EPZ Police Station. Both were traveling on Road No. 5 in the EPZ area when the accident occurred at around 9 am.
Locals reported that the collision left both motorcyclists injured. They were quickly taken to Chattogram Medical College Hospital, where doctors pronounced them dead upon arrival.
Nurul Alam Ashek, in charge of the Chattogram Medical College Hospital police outpost, confirmed that the bodies have been placed in the hospital morgue for autopsy.
