Rajshahi University Initiates Dengue Prevention Program at Shah Makhdum Hall

Rajshahi:A cleanliness and mosquito eradication drive was launched today at Shah Makhdum Hall as part of Rajshahi University's ongoing dengue prevention program.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the program was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Professor Faridul Islam on the hall premises.

The event was attended by several key university figures, including Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Professor Md. Abdul Alim, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education) Professor Mamunur Rashid, Hall Provost Professor Syed Sarwar Jahan, and other residential teachers.

As part of the initiative, activities such as mosquito and larvicide spraying, clearing of bushes and weeds, maintaining cleanliness inside and around the hall, and proper waste disposal are being undertaken. Additionally, advice has been provided to follow relevant health guidelines.
