Boiler Explosion at Rice Mill in Naogaon Results in Fatality and Injuries

Naogaon:A 45-year-old worker was killed and four others were injured following a boiler explosion at a rice husking mill in Hapania within Sadar upazila on Wednesday.

According to United News of Bangladesh, the deceased was identified as Abdul Khalek, son of Basir Uddin, a resident of Sadar upazila. The incident occurred at a husking mill owned by Isarat Ali when the boiler exploded with a loud bang in the morning, leaving five individuals injured.

The injured were subsequently transported to Naogaon 25-bed Hospital, where Abdul Khalek was pronounced dead by doctors. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident, as confirmed by the officer in charge.
