Dhaka:Six additional deaths from dengue have been reported, along with 1,608 new hospitalizations in the last 24 hours.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the total number of dengue-related deaths this year has reached 256, as reported by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). The recent fatalities include two from Dhaka South City Corporation, two from Rajshahi division, and one each from Khulna and Barishal divisions.
Currently, 5,631 patients are receiving treatment for dengue in various hospitals across the country. Since the beginning of the year, a total of 84,369 people have been admitted to hospitals with dengue, of whom 78,482 have recovered.
