Panel Discussion on Career Development Held at Rajshahi

Rajshahi:A panel discussion focusing on "Career Thoughts Self-Development, Success and Preparation" took place at Shah Makhdum College, organized by the Rangpur Divisional Association, Rajshahi.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event aimed to guide university students in career building, self-development, achieving success, and preparing for the future. Fifty students from the University of Rajshahi (RU) participated in the discussion.

The panelists included Professor Dr. Md. Ilias Hossain from the Department of Economics at RU, Additional Divisional Commissioner of Rajshahi Rezaul Alam Sarker, Additional District and Sessions Judge Mizanur Rahman, and Additional Superintendent of Police Helena Akhtar. They addressed topics such as career planning, skill acquisition, preparation for competitive exams, necessary workplace qualifications, and setting future goals.

The panelists encouraged students to align their career plans with their skills and interests, emphasizing the importance of regular preparation. Associate Professor Monira Jannatul Kobra from the Department of Physics at RU moderated the program.

The session was presided over by Dr. Md. Motiul Islam, President of the Rangpur Divisional Association, Rajshahi, and Associate Professor of Orthopedics at Rajshahi Medical College. Students engaged with the panelists through questions about their careers and future professional life, receiving guidance based on the panelists' experiences and professional realities.
