Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami to Launch Dengue Awareness Campaign

Dhaka:Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is set to initiate a week-long dengue awareness campaign across the nation starting October 4. The event will be inaugurated by the party's Ameer and Leader of the Opposition, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, in the capital.

According to United News of Bangladesh, the campaign, named 'Dengue Prevention Public Awareness Week,' will run from October 4 to 10. The inaugural event is scheduled for 9 am on Sunday at Madhubagh playground in Moghbazar.

The party has expressed concern over the serious dengue situation in the country, with several deaths reported due to the mosquito-borne disease. They emphasize the importance of public awareness and cooperation in preventing dengue.

Jamaat has urged its leaders, activists, and the general public to join together in this effort to increase awareness and promote collective measures to combat the spread of dengue.
