Fulgazi:Prime Minister Tarique Rahman issued a warning today about attempts to create anarchy in the country, citing an alliance between a 'covert' group and those who fled following the ouster of the previous regime. He expressed concerns that this coalition aims to disrupt government initiatives focused on public welfare.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Prime Minister made these remarks while distributing Family Cards and Farmer Cards, and providing honorariums to mosque imams, muezzins, khadims, and priests at Fulgazi Government Pilot High School. He emphasized the importance of vigilance among the populace to counteract the influence of these groups, which he accused of engaging in politics solely to gain power rather than improving people's lives.

The Prime Minister highlighted that the government's programs, like Family Cards for women and Farmer Cards for agricultural support, are designed to enhance the economic and social conditions of citizens. He noted that more than 100,000 farmers have already benefited from the Farmer Card program.

Tarique Rahman criticized political parties advocating 'one-point' demands, questioning their lack of initiatives comparable to the government's programs. He called for public awareness against those he accused of attempting to create disorder, urging continued support for democratic governance to foster national prosperity.

He also discussed the significance of canal and river excavation projects in mitigating flood damage and ensuring irrigation, mentioning the government's efforts to attract investment for reopening closed mills and factories to boost employment.

The Prime Minister concluded by stressing the need for collective efforts to maintain democratic rule and build a prosperous Bangladesh, warning that unrest would negatively impact businesses and ordinary livelihoods.
