Rangpur:A group of youths in Rangpur city successfully rescued a sick eagle that was trapped in a billboard structure and released it back into the wild after providing preliminary care on Saturday.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the eagle was discovered around 10 a.m., caught between the iron rods of a billboard located on the roof of Shahjahan Super Market, near Salek Pump on Station Road.
Ashik Mia, one of the local youths, initially found the bird struggling to free itself. The eagle's aggressive behavior posed a challenge for rescuers attempting to approach it.
After several hours, the group managed to safely rescue the bird. They provided approximately three hours of care before setting it free later in the afternoon.
The efforts of these youths have been widely appreciated by the local residents.
