Dhaka: The Traffic Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 2,481 cases against traffic law violators in the capital over the last 24 hours. A total of 528 vehicles were dumped and 348 vehicles were towed, according to a DMP press release issued today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during the drive, Ramna Division filed 84 cases, Lalbagh Division 139, Motijheel Division 328, Wari Division 361, Tejgaon Division 150, Mirpur Division 479, Uttara Division 630, and Gulshan Division filed 310.
The DMP stated that its traffic enforcement drives would continue across the capital to ensure traffic discipline.
