Manikganj: Manikganj District Jubo Dal today conducted a cleanliness drive in the Manikganj Municipality area to prevent the spread of dengue and chikungunya in the district town. Leaders and activists of the organisation participated in the initiative, focusing on cleaning roads, roadside areas, and ditches to eliminate potential mosquito-breeding grounds.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event saw participation from people from different walks of life, who joined and expressed their support for the initiative. Jubo Dal leaders emphasized the importance of residents maintaining clean yards and surroundings to protect themselves and their neighbors from mosquito-borne diseases.
The leaders also announced that such cleanliness drives would continue in the coming days as part of ongoing efforts to prevent the spread of dengue and chikungunya.
