Bangladesh: Bangladesh's men's hockey team is set to kick off its 20th Asian Games campaign with an opening match against South Korea. The game is scheduled to take place tomorrow (Friday) at the Gifu Prefectural Green Stadium in Kakamigahara, Japan, starting at 8 am Bangladesh time.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, following the match against South Korea, Bangladesh will play against the host nation, Japan, on September 22. The team will then face Sri Lanka on September 24, followed by matches against Indonesia on September 26 and India on September 28, all at the same venue.
In a parallel development, Bangladesh's women's hockey team is set to make its Asian Games debut. The team will face China on September 20 at the Kawasaki Heavy Industries Hockey Stadium.
