Dhaka: Food Minister Afroza Khanam today emphasized the government's commitment to ensuring food security under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. She highlighted the significance of safe and quality food production, alongside the adoption of modern technology for the advancement of the country's food industry.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the minister made these remarks while serving as the chief guest at the opening ceremony of the 11th BAPA FoodPro International Expo-2026. The event took place at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB). Minister Khanam underscored the crucial role of modern technology in processing and producing safe food as a pathway to enhancing the food industry's growth.
