Rajshahi: Rajshahi Zila Parishad has distributed cheques amounting to Tk 2.62 lakh among 38 beneficiaries, including helpless individuals, students, and people seeking medical treatment. On the occasion, a ceremony was held at the conference room of the Zila Parishad today, with Zila Parishad Administrator Advocate Ershad Ali as the chief guest.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, in his speech, Advocate Ershad Ali emphasized that under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, special importance is being given to the welfare of the common people. He highlighted the efforts to support the helpless and underprivileged, ensuring their access to education, medical treatment, and social security.
He further noted that their sense of responsibility becomes more meaningful when they can stand by the helpless, destitute, and underprivileged in society. The event also saw the presence of Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad Umme Fatima, Assistant Engineer Al Amin Mallik, and Chief Assistant Al Matin as special guests.
Various officials and employees of the Zila Parishad, along with beneficiaries and representatives of different institutions, were also in attendance.
