Rajshahi: Health protection and educational materials were distributed to children in the Sutahati area under Paba Upazila in the district on Saturday. The program was organized at Al-Abrar Academy under the Health Protection and Educational Materials Distribution Project.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event was organized by the Rotary Club of Padma Rajshahi and Sachcholota Association, with the theme 'Every healthy child, an unbounded light.' The initiative focused on enhancing children's nutrition, health, basic education, and literacy.
The event was led by Rotarian Ekram Hossain, President of the Rotary Club of Padma Rajshahi, with chief patronage by Rotarian PP Kabir Hossain. Notable speakers included Dr. D M Zahurul Islam, Public Image Chair of the Rotary Club of Padma Rajshahi, and Salman Farsi, General Secretary of Sachcholota Association, who also organized the event.
Other distinguished attendees were Rotarian PP A R Joardar, Rotarian PP Engineer Nazma Rahman, Rotarian PP Saiful Islam, and Rotarian Sanjida Zaman Rumu, along with members of the Rotary Club and the organizing association. Speakers emphasized the significance of children's health protection and education, noting that ensuring proper nutrition, healthcare, and access to quality education is pivotal for a child's healthy development.
The speakers further highlighted that initiatives like these contribute positively to societal welfare and the overall well-being of children.
