State Minister for Religion Engages with Hefazat-e-Islam Leader in Chittagong

Chittagong: State Minister for Religious Affairs, Shamim Kaiser, MP, met with the Ameer of Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh, Allama Shah Muhibullah Babunagri, at the Al Jamiatul Islamia Azizul Uloom Babunagri Madrasa in Nazirhat Municipality, Fatikchhari upazila. The meeting occurred on Saturday afternoon, August 29, and marked a significant interaction between the government and the influential religious institution.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the State Minister engaged in a cordial conversation with the Ameer at the madrasa's guesthouse. He later addressed reporters, emphasizing the role of Allama Shah Muhibullah Babunagri in supporting the government's governance efforts. Shamim Kaiser expressed his longstanding desire to meet with the Ameer and visit the madrasa since his appointment as State Minister.

During the visit, the State Minister conveyed his intention to seek the blessings of Huzoor, a term of respect for Allama Babunagri. He highlighted the trust that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has garnered from the populace by following the principles of justice and the teachings of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH), promoting these ideals throughout the nation.

The meeting was attended by Hefazat leaders, administrative officials, personnel from the madrasa, and scholars, underscoring the importance of the occasion.
