Dhaka: Leaders and activists of the Jatiyatabadi Muktijoddha Dal on Tuesday paid tribute to the graves of BNP founder and former president Ziaur Rahman and former prime minister Khaleda Zia by placing floral wreaths.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the tribute was made at Ziaur Rahman's grave in the capital's Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area around 10:30 am. This act was in commemoration of the 34th founding anniversary of the Jatiyatabadi Muktijoddha Dal. Following the tribute, special prayers and a munajat were conducted to seek eternal peace for the souls of Ziaur Rahman and Khaleda Zia.
Central and metropolitan-level leaders and activists of the Jatiyatabadi Muktijoddha Dal participated in the event, demonstrating their respect and remembrance for the contributions of the Zia family.
