CTTC Arrests Fugitive Linked to Multiple Cases in Dhaka

Dhaka: The Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested a fugitive, accused in six cases, during a raid in the capital’s Shantinagar residential area.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accused is wanted in six cases, including five conviction warrants and one general warrant. The arrested person was identified as Anisur Rahman Prokash Humayun, 55.



On a tip-off, a team of the research and development of the CTTC conducted a drive at Shantinagar residential area around 3:30 pm on Tuesday and arrested Anisur, the DMP said. Legal proceedings against the arrested person are underway, it said.
