Dinajpur: The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) today awarded certificates and electrical tools to 15 unemployed youths from border areas of Dinajpur, marking the completion of a four-week basic electrical house wiring training course.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the BGB’s Phulbari Battalion (29 BGB) organized the training at the Youth Development Training Centre under Eluari Union Parishad in Phulbari Upazila. The initiative aimed to develop the skills of unemployed youths and provide opportunities for self-employment.
The course, which commenced on July 26, concluded with a ceremony where BGB Dinajpur Sector Commander Colonel Mohammad Faisal Hasan Khan served as the chief guest. He distributed certificates and essential electrical tools to the participants.
In his address, Colonel Khan emphasized BGB’s commitment to building trust with border communities. He highlighted the organization’s role in ensuring border security and combating issues such as smuggling, drugs, human trafficking, and arms trafficking.
