Savar: State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives (LGRD) Mir Shahe Alam today asserted that the current government is making relentless efforts to advance the nation, having inherited a fragile economy.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Shahe Alam emphasized that genuine development is now taking place across the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. He noted that strategies are being devised to extract benefits from even the most unexpected sources, highlighting the innovative approaches being employed. The state minister pointed out that no significant development had been achieved in the country over the past two decades.
The remarks were made by the state minister while addressing questions from journalists during his inspection of beautification work on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway in Savar. Furthermore, Shahe Alam revealed plans to gradually establish municipal corporations in the Aminbazar and Ashulia areas of Savar, signaling future initiatives for local development.
