Iqbal Hossain Urges MMCH to Provide Seamless Patient Services

Mymensingh: State Minister for the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, M. Iqbal Hossain, conducted an inspection of Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH) for the first time since assuming the role of chairman of the hospital's management committee. During his visit, he emphasized the need for the hospital authorities to ensure that patients receive hassle-free services.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Iqbal Hossain was accompanied by Abu Wahab Akand Wahid, a Member of Parliament and vice-chairman of the hospital management committee. Wahid, who also represents the Sadar constituency, joined Hossain in discussing the hospital's operations and challenges with MMCH Director Brigadier General Md Zakir Hossain.

Brigadier General Md Zakir Hossain briefed the chairman and vice-chairman about the hospital's activities, highlighting the various problems and challenges the facility faces. The discussions aimed at identifying measures to improve patient care and operational efficiency at MMCH.

Following the meeting, Iqbal Hossain and the local lawmaker visited Shiuli Khanam, the younger sister of BNP Media Cell member Shyrul Kabir Khan, who is currently on life support in the hospital's ICU. They spoke with Khanam's family members, inquired about her health condition, and offered their support during the visit.
