Chittagong: Police seized 130 kg of hemp and 100 bottles of phensidyl from a microbus in Mirsarai upazila of the district today. The microbus, allegedly used to transport the drugs, was also seized during the operation. However, the people involved in the drug trading managed to flee the scene.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a specialized police team conducted the operation on the Economic Zone Road near Mirsarai Police Station following a tip-off. The operation led to the confiscation of the significant amount of illegal substances, underscoring ongoing efforts to tackle drug trafficking in the region.
