Gazipur: The government today transferred three Superintendents of Police (SPs) to three different districts across the country. The Home Affairs Ministry issued a transfer order stating that Gazipur, Kushtia, and Khulna districts will have new SPs.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the notification detailed that the SP of Kushtia, Mohammad Jasim Uddin, has been reassigned to Gazipur district. Furthermore, Md Aminul Islam from the Sylhet Range DIG Office has been appointed as the SP of Kushtia district. Additionally, Sarker Omar Faruk, previously with the Police Staff College, has been transferred to Khulna as SP.
The notification also mentioned the transfer of three other SPs to new units within the Bangladesh Police.
