Bagerhat: On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha, the Bagerhat district administration held a meeting with transport stakeholders to ensure the safe, orderly, and smooth movement of people traveling back to their workplaces after the celebration of Eid. The meeting focused on various aspects of road transport management and passenger services.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting was held at the conference room of the Bagerhat Deputy Commissioner and was presided over by Bagerhat Deputy Commissioner Golam Md. Baten. Key topics discussed included fare regulation and road safety.
In attendance were Bagerhat BRTA Assistant Director Lailatul Mawa, leaders of the District Bus, Minibus, Coach and Microbus Workers' Union, Owners' Association representative Niakat Sardar, workers' leader Selim Bhuiyan, journalists, and representatives of various transport-sector organizations.
