Bogura: A 35-year-old man and his young daughter lost their lives in a tragic road accident on the Bogura-Dhaka highway at Banani in the Shahjahanpur upazila of Bogura district. The incident also left the man’s wife injured after an unidentified vehicle collided with their motorcycle on Monday.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the victims have been identified as Anisur Rahman, son of Ershad Ali, and his four-year-old daughter, Ayesha, both from Sujanagar upazila in Pabna district. The unfortunate accident took place around 7:35 am when the unidentified vehicle struck their motorcycle from behind, resulting in the immediate deaths of Anisur and Ayesha.
Pushpa Akter, the injured wife, was promptly transported to Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital for medical attention. Asif Iqbal, the officer-in-charge of Shahjahanpur Police Station, mentioned that efforts are being made to locate the vehicle and identify its driver involved in the tragic incident.
