Dhaka: Professor Dr. Abdullah-Al-Mamun of the Department of Japanese Studies at Dhaka University has been appointed as a full-time member of the Bangladesh University Grants Commission (UGC) for a four-year term.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a notification issued by the Secondary and Higher Education Division under the Ministry of Education confirmed the appointment today. The notification stated that the appointment was made under Section 2(B) of the Bangladesh University Grants Commission Order, 1973.
The appointment of Professor Dr. Abdullah-Al-Mamun will come into effect from the date of his joining, as mentioned in the notification.
