Dhaka: Police Headquarters has published a set of emergency contact numbers for citizens seeking assistance during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha holidays. The advisory aims to ensure safety and security during this festive period.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, people can contact various agencies in case of emergencies, security concerns, extortion, suspicious activities, travel-related problems, or any other law and order issues during Eid travel and cattle trading. The emergency contact numbers include Bangladesh Police Headquarters Control Room at 01320001300 and 01320001299, Highway Police Headquarters at 01320182598, Railway Police Headquarters at 01320177598, Naval Police Headquarters at 01320169598, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) at 01777720029, and the National Emergency Service at 999.
Police Headquarters urged the public to immediately contact the nearest law enforcement agency or dial 999 in case of emergencies, suspicious movements, fraud, extortion, or any untoward incidents during the Eid celebrations.
