Jatrabari: Jatrabari Thana police has arrested 12 people from Jatrabari thana areas of the capital yesterday. A team of Jatrabari police in a special drive arrested 12 persons on various charges from different crime-prone areas of the thana here yesterday.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the arrestees are Sohag Miah, Md Jamal Khalifa, Ifran Hossain alias Ayon, Md Ripon, Md Arif, Nasir Uddin alias Md Liton Ahmed, Ruhul Amin Niloy, Zaman, Takbir Hssan, Md Ariful Islam, Md Al Amin, and Md Juwel.
Of the arrested individuals, two were detained with specific charges, four under warrants, five under mobile court, and one under section 54 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC). Lawful actions were taken against the arrested persons in this connection.
