Rajshahi: The three-day 'Land Services Fair-2026' will commence simultaneously across the country on May 19. The Ministry of Land is organizing the event with the aim of simplifying land services, familiarizing the public with digital platforms, and providing accessible services at the grassroots level.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the details were disclosed at a press briefing held at the Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner's Office. Additional Divisional Commissioner (Revenue) Dr. Chitralekha Nazneen delivered the written statement during the briefing, emphasizing the importance of the fair in educating the public about the recently automated land-related services, which are now accessible from home.
The briefing was conducted by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Md. Mohinul Hasan, with Assistant Commissioner (Land) of Boalia Arif Hossain and other relevant officials in attendance. It was also announced that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will formally inaugurate the fair at 10 am on May 19 from the Land Building in Tejgaon, Dhaka.
