Dhaka: State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj announced today that the government is set to implement changes in education policies to tackle existing issues within the sector. He stated that major initiatives are already underway to address problems such as the shortage of teachers, the quality of education, and the demands of educators. These efforts are part of a broader governmental strategy to reformulate education policies aimed at resolving these challenges.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the state minister communicated these plans during a media briefing at Shahittika Model Govt Primary School. He had previously attended a workshop at the leadership training center. This workshop is part of the pre-primary and primary school improvement project currently being executed in regions including Cox’s Bazar, Bhasan Char, and Bandarban.
In his address as the chief guest at the workshop, the state minister emphasized the importance of reforming the education sector. He conveyed that properly addressing educational problems could significantly mitigate numerous economic and social issues. Furthermore, he reiterated the government’s dedication to fulfilling the necessary demands of teachers.
The workshop was attended by several notable figures, including Director General Shahina Ferdousi of the Primary Education department, Director Mohammad Kamrul Hasan, and Project Director Mohammad Amzad Hossen.
