Mymensingh: An unidentified man was killed after being hit by a train while walking along railway tracks in the Shambhuganj railway station area of Mymensingh on Sunday morning. The incident occurred when the man, estimated to be around 50 years old, was struck by the Haor Express passenger train, which had departed from Mohanganj in Netrokona and was en route to Dhaka.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the train hit the man, leaving him dead on the spot around 10 am. Md Akhtar Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Mymensingh Railway Police Station, confirmed the incident and stated that efforts are underway to identify the deceased individual.
