Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted moderately heavy to very heavy rainfall in Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions over the next 24 hours starting from 9am on Sunday. The weather update indicates that these regions should prepare for significant rainfall during this period.
According to United News of Bangladesh, other areas will also experience weather changes. Light to moderate rain or thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty or squally winds and lightning flashes, are likely to occur at various locations across the Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions. Furthermore, the Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions may witness rain or thunder showers at a few places.
In terms of temperature, the BMD anticipates that the day temperature will remain nearly unchanged nationwide, while there may be a slight increase in night temperatures across the country.
