Paba: The annual general meeting of the Paba Upazila Deed Writers’ Association was convened to discuss the advancement of professional development for deed writers, protect their rights, and enhance the dynamism of service activities. The meeting was held at the association’s own shed, where members reviewed the organization’s activities and future plans.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting was presided over by the association’s president, Anarul Islam Abu, and moderated by General Secretary Asaduzzaman Sabuj. The initial sessions included presentations on the previous year’s activities, financial accounts, and various service initiatives. Action plans for the future were formulated based on members’ input.



Speakers at the meeting emphasized the critical role of deed writers in land management and stressed the importance of improving professional standards, increasing legal knowledge, and adapting to modern services. There was a call for the organization to become stronger and more unified to secure the legitimate rights of deed writers.



The meeting also focused on initiatives aimed at the welfare of members, such as supporting those who are sick or financially struggling, enhancing professional security, and building skills among new members through training. Attendees were urged to act responsibly to prevent irregularities and harassment in land-related services.



The meeting was attended by Senior Vice President Md. Mizanur Rahman, Vice President Md. Nurunnabi, Joint General Secretary Md. Aminul Haque, Treasurer Md. Abdul Alim, Organizing Secretary Md. Ahsan Habib Babu, Office Secretary Md. Anwar Hossain, among others. It concluded with a call for collective efforts towards the advancement of the organization and the welfare of its members.
